Hey All,
Yes, we went to TorreBear Retreat in Big Bear and stayed there for two nights, last night and the night before. I would have blogged about it sooner, but we didn't have Wi-fi there. TorreBear Retreat is a cabin in Big Bear City California, near San Diego, it's owned by Dad's brother, Uncle Bill and his wife, Aunt Karen. Uncle Bill's daughter is the one getting married in about 3 weeks, just so you can put the family together. The cabin is so cutely decorated, bears all over the place, it also has a rustic feel, it's kind of out in the woods, so you feel suclueded. We were so blessed to have a place to stay for two nights. Even though we stayed in the RV on the driveway, we showered, cooked, ate at the cabin and even watched a movie from the 50's: "The Long, Long Trailer" starring
Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Here are some pictures from TorreBear Retreat!

We recently watched "The Long, Long Trailer." Have any of your adventures reminded you of the movie?
ReplyDeleteYes, many of our adventures have reminded us of the movie. Cooking, especially, and also making sure our stuff is tied down and not being too heavy going up and down the mountains.
