Joshua Tree National Park, California

Hey Everyone,

Today on our way to Oceanside, California we stopped by Joshua Tree National Park.  This park is in the desert and has these odd-looking trees, or Joshua Trees.  Here's what the National Park Service stays about the park: "Viewed from the road, this desert park only hints at its vitality. Closer examination reveals a fascinating variety of plants and animals that make their home in this land shaped by strong winds, unpredictable torrents of rain, and climatic extremes." These trees look kind of like deformed palm trees with crooked branches they're not like anything I've ever seen.  They're hard to explain with words, so we took some pictures for you! Don't forget to vote on your favorite place we've been and to post some comments!!  We love to hear from you!Remember, we are now on Pacific Time Zone, so we are three hours behind most of you!!
